Client Director - Existing Clients

Location: Chorley, Lancashire, UK

The Client Director will be responsible for prospecting and building relationships within ROQ’s existing large, multi-national, Public and Private sector clients, whilst ensuring the highest levels of client satisfaction.

You will be a well-organised, passionate and energetic self-starter with a hunger for personal success and the rewards that come with it. You will have excellent communication skills - both written and oral – and the ability to participate in C-Level discussions to demonstrate ROQ’s unique value proposition. You will have solid experience in account management and relationship development, as well as being an innovative and effective prospector – able to drive conversations with the right individuals, at the right levels to initiate, maintain and grow client engagements effectively. You must have a good understanding of the software delivery lifecycle and a good technical background to assess the validity of opportunities.

The ability to build trust-based, value added relationships with existing clients is key – as is the ability to work effectively with internal Subject Matter Experts at ROQ, across a range of departments to drive optimal business outcomes. You will earn sales bonuses / commission based on client satisfaction and sales revenue / contributing margin generated associated with account growth on the accounts you manage (all of which is detailed in the ‘ROQ Commission Plan’).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Becoming an SME on assigned clients and their IT strategies, leveraging news, industry publications (and websites), social media and specialist events – to highlight opportunities for ROQ to position and/or expand its services.

  • Synthesising and prioritising this information to determine and appropriate mix of activities to drive engagement.

  • Develop and deliver against Account Plans – utilising the ROQ templates and methods.

  • Pro-active in building relationships across the clients – using account-based marketing techniques and approaches.

  • Tracking and recording all activities – contacts, engagement & deals - in ROQ’s CRM system for planning and reporting purposes.

  • Creating sustainable business and profitable growth for ROQ – selling on client value over price to maintain good margins.

  • Responsible for ensuring client contractual obligations are met and quarterly client satisfaction information is collected to feed into key internal processes.

  • Responsible for forecasting resource requirements over a 3 to 6-month time horizon, working with the resourcing function to align/find the right resources.

  • Any other duties deemed necessary by the company.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience of relationship development, sales and successful selling IT services to large enterprise clients.

  • Excellent account planning skills, with innovative and fresh ideas for account-based marketing.

  • Strong organisation abilities and the ability to manage multiple workstreams.

  • Confident presenter with excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Experience of establishing rapport with prospects and building relationships.

  • Strong administrative skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and CRM systems.
