When a leading medical protection provider faced a time-sensitive technical upgrade with limited internal testing capabilities, Roq stepped in to provide strategic quality leadership. Our Client 

Our client is a leading member-owned, not-for-profit medical protection provider supporting doctors, dentists, and healthcare professionals. Their mission is to safeguard members’ professional interests and provide expert guidance through the challenges of modern clinical practice.  

The Client Challenge 

Facing a critical technical upgrade to retain vendor support, our client recognised early that their existing resources and approach lacked the depth required to deliver with confidence. Some key challenges stood in the way: 

  • The internal test team was small and lacked the specialist expertise and strategic experience needed to lead a project of this scale with confidence. 

  • Testing prior to System Integration and UAT was fully managed by the vendor, resulting in limited oversight and a high degree of delivery risk. 

  • There was no clearly defined testing strategy, structure, or governance model in place, leaving the project without the necessary foundations for quality assurance.  

What We Delivered

  • We acted as a trusted advisor across testing and project meetings, offering strategic input that set the direction for long-term delivery success.
