Roq Bolsters Growth Plans with CPO and CFO Appointed

Roq, the UK’s leading Quality Engineering consultancy, is pleased to announce the appointment of two new members to its Leadership Team.

Carla Read - Chief People Officer - and James MacLeod - Chief Financial Officer - will sit on Roq’s Leadership Team and will play a large part in shaping and delivering against its future growth strategy.

Since being founded in 2009, Roq continues to provide confidence to some of the world’s largest organisations delivering technology change, through its Quality Engineering solutions and brilliant team.

While AI continues to be a key focus in the technology sector, Roq recognises that it is it’s brilliant people that are its strongest asset in driving innovation and success. The appointment of Carla Read marks the next phase of Roq’s journey, strengthening its Investors in People platinum status, championing employee experience, and ensuring that Roq continues to be a truly exceptional place to work.

Bringing a strong track record in transforming workplace culture and scaling global businesses, Carla has led people strategies across North America, APAC, and EMEA. Previously, as Head of People at Desana, she played a key role in the company’s rapid global expansion. She has also led significant people and culture transformations at Gresham Office Furniture and Ultimate Performance.

In support of the growth plans, James MacLeod brings a wealth of experience in financial leadership, having held board positions for over 20 years, most recently in the position of CFO with Inciner8 Ltd and Alpine Fire Engineers. He has a proven track record in driving financial strategy and operational excellence. James will play a pivotal role in ensuring Roq’s future is sustainable as it scales to meet increasing demand from leading organisations seeking world-class Quality Engineering solutions.
